Replacement key shell for Renault, Dacia and Opel vehicles, designed to replace a worn or damaged key fob housing.

Worn buttons, a cracked shell or a damaged key mechanism do not mean the entire key has to be replaced. Simply transfer the electronics, transponder and battery from your old key into the new shell. No adaptation or programming is required.

Before ordering, compare the shape of your key and the number of buttons with the product photos.

Installation – two options

• New key blade – the included metal blade can be cut by a locksmith to match your key.
• Original key blade – your existing blade can be transferred to the new shell.

Transfer the electronics, transponder and battery from your existing key. When reusing the original blade, removing the retaining pin may be required.

Battery

The key uses a CR2016 battery. The battery is not included.
